One to One Work Resources For Autism
We are currently looking for more one to one workers within Resources for Autism both in Birmingham and Walsall. If you are interested in this please see below or if you know someone who may be interested please do pass this onto them; your help would be much appreciated.
Resources for Autism are a dynamic and growing charity looking for staff interested in developing their careers and growing with us.
One to one support staff offer specialist help to our children and adults in the community. This may mean taking an individual swimming or shopping, to the cinema or to the dentist or joining them in a group. It is an active service and we are looking for people with masses of energy and commitment, a non-judgemental attitude and absolute reliability.
You must be willing to work with those whose behaviour may challenge others and to be flexible and understanding in your approach and be able to use your initiative. Experience of those with autism would be an advantage.
Hours are variable but usually in the evenings and/or weekends.
Training will be given and you will be part of a supportive and inclusive team.
Workers needed in all areas of Birmingham and Walsall.
Most work is likely to be at the weekends and evenings and occasional week day times.
We particularly welcome those with a clean driving licence and their own transport but this is not essential.
Please apply on line via our website: www.resourcesforautism.org.uk
Information from other organisations is sent at their request and does not imply RfA endorsement
Please note my working hours are generally Monday 9am -5pm, Tuesday 11am-5pm, Wednesday 9am-5.30pm and Thursday 9am-5pm

I am very proud to have been the Head Teacher at Uffculme School since 1999. Our children and families are fantastic and I am very honoured to be part of a very creative, dedicated and skilled staff. Working together as a community is the only way that our children can optimise their learning, enjoyment and well-being and take their rightful place in society. I hope this website will help you to decide if our school may be the appropriate one for your child. Please do not hesitate to contact us for a school visit – usually on a Thursday morning – to further help you in one of your most important decisions you will take for your child. I look forward to seeing you in the future.
