At Uffculme School, teachers and leaders carefully consider the most appropriate and effective way to utilise funding to enhance provision and outcomes for our learners across the school.
Wider school strategies (readiness to learn)
Although the main aim of the pupil premium is to raise attainment, guidance from the DfE states that schools can spend their pupil premium on:
- non-academic outcomes, such as improving pupils’ mental health
- non-academic improvements, such as better attendance
- activities that will also benefit non-eligible pupils
Where appropriate we will also utilise Pupil Premium for specific pupil needs.
